FOCUS ON BUDGET
2013 budget was enacted to improve the standard of living in the country. The Government will also ensure that people get the best services and maximum benefits as a result of the implementation of development programs and projects. Therefore, the 2013 budget is designed themed "MEMAKMUR NEGARA, MENSEJAHTERA RAKYAT: A promises are kept" by focusing on five key focus.
The five focus was to stimulate investment activity; strengthen education and training; entrenched innovation, increased productivity, fiscal consolidation and enhance the efficiency of public services, and, bless the people.
Briefly discuss the budget 2013 has the following positive things and among them are:
Grant BR1M 2.0, voucher books, and school aid
This has the advantages and benefits to low-income households, youth, and to military retirees. This also applies to the 1Malaysia People's Aid BR1M RM500 to households with income below RM3000. This benefit is also extended to unmarried individuals aged 21 years and above and earning below RM2000 also received a grant of RM250.
To students of higher education institutions (HEIs) and the Sixth Form, also benefited because the provision of open vouchers will be continued, but the amount will be increased by RM250 voucher previously only RM200. Do not miss the first students up to Form Five will continue to seek assistance of RM100 per person.
Give discounts to PTPTN borrowers
If the borrower pays a lump sum to settle the loan and they will get a discount of 20% and to settle on a consistent basis will get a discount of 10%. This is a happy news for those who owe PTPTN.

Benefits to generation 'Y'
For those aged 21 to 30 years are categorized as 'generation Y'. These people get a rebate of RM200 for every purchase of a 3G smartphone unit. besides, the government also has an internet facility in a residential area as much as RM 150 million.
Benefit to the people in Sabah and Sarawak
They enjoy a discount of 50%
