People may think that their main food groups are great, but the best fictional characters are better. Who doesn’t love candy, candy canes, candy corns, and syrup? Buddy the Elf is the best fictional character. Will Ferrell stars as “Buddy” in the popular Christmas comedy Elf. Buddy is the best because he is a hard worker, he is always happy and caring, and he is just flat out hilarious. Buddy the Elf is a hard worker. Who else has traveled through seven layers of the Candy Cane forest? Or through the sea of Twirly Swirly gumdrops? No one has. Well, Buddy was still smiling when a guy who wasn’t even in charge of him scolded him. One of the things he says in the movie is “I just like smiling, smiling’s my favorite!” When watching the movie, people may remember the part when Buddy goes to pick up Michael from school, they run into some snowball throwing bullies. Buddy doesn’t just run away, but helps Michael chase away the bullies. They hide behind a snow mount, and then Buddy pelts all of the bullies with snowballs. Also, when Buddy was at the doctor’s office he was asking a little girl what she wanted for Christmas, and made sure that he would tell
