To start a business we need to figure out what is going to be our mission statement, the mission statement is the main purpose of a business. For example, you and your friend decided set up a business. Whatever the business is you need to have a purpose of it, otherwise it’s not going to be beneficial or it will be difficult to run this business. If the business is based on selling bikes than purpose or the mission statement would be to sell the product with good profit and to be the biggest company in the UK.
Now to maintain or to succeed the purpose, it is required to have an aim. The aims are the goals or targets that have to be reach in order to accomplish the purpose. For instance, one of the aims for the

For example, when we start a new business, normally we cannot make profit straight way. In this case our aim should be ‘break even’, menaing we need to make sure we can make enough money for running our business constantly. It is important to make sure the business is break even (Nor loss or profit). To achieve this we need to figure out our objectives (Activities that are required to achieve this aim). So, as a new business I think the objective would be to attract public or customers by reducing prices. After we see the consumer being attract, then we can put the price back to its original form. Therefore, the reducing price won’t be affecting the business.Besides, it would be better if we can improve the quality of our staff, because it is really important to have a good relationship with customers (Service provision). It is a corner shop, situated by investment of two partners (shareholders) and they are husband and wife. However, their business aim might be to sell the most popular grosser item so people will buy them and the business can be profitable. To meet this aim the objective should be, first sell all kind of grocery items and then pick the items which are sold in large proportion, among the sold item. After, the selection we can now order those items for sale. This has to be done by 6 months time limit.
PLC’s are the organisation such as Tesco, Curry PC World and Asda etc.... They are big company because the shareholders are from the around the world meaning, anyone can buy share. So, an aim for Tesco might be the biggest and profitable business. To meet this aim, the objectives that we required are to developed services such as, double club card points and help desk; Increase the self pay machines; and reduce price by 30% on unpopular
