There are two methods to feeding a new born infant. Breastfeeding is a natural way that has been around for years since humans were first formed, and the second method is instant formula. Studies show that breast milk contains more nutrients than instant formula. Therefore, breastfeeding is the best method for feeding a baby. It is really important, especially for the first year of a baby's life. Breastfeeding results in having a healthier baby. The first couple of days after child birth, the mother produces colostrum. Colostrum has rich antibodies which protects a child from getting viruses or infections.
