When I was 12 years old, I saw the list of bar top-notches on television and I promised that I will never settle for mediocrity and be the next bar top-notcher. I grew up along with the legal cases that my family has been trying to win for years now. They were fighting for the lands that some people stole from my grandfather. Seeing my family suffer is what motivates me to become a lawyer. I am currently taking up Bachelor of Arts in Communication Research because it would be a good foundation for my law school. Experience of working in a competitive and target driven environment and being able to think critically and analytically are just three of the skills that I get in the undergraduate degree that I am taking. Having a background in research would also prepare me to work in a formal environment and will enable me to explain complex material and concepts to people of different specialisms and levels of understanding. Having this Bachelor’s Degree is a stepping stone for my career. I have a number of goals that I want to achieve. I want to have a Juris doctorate degree in law, specialize in corporate law and have a masteral degree in research abroad. I am persevering to get the Bachelor's Degree in one of the most prestigious university in the country to ensure a good future in the corporate world. I also believe in the words of John Dewey that education is not preparation for life but education is life itself.

My family is a tremendous source of inspiration for me. In a time when financial aid was unavailable, my grandfather worked many different jobs to support himself through college. As a boy, he acquainted me with the struggles he faced to attain an education. His fierce determination was what put him through college and law school. My parents, both victims of divorce, were unable to complete their education at a university. Instead, an unexpected miracle would compel them to find work and fulfill certain responsibilities.…
