Bravefoot Persuasive Speech
Welcome to the BRAVEFOOT series, which I present to you with a deep curtsy.

Let’s face it: YOU ARE GREAT! And your greatness needs to be recorded! Not just for a day, a week, a month, or a year, but forever! Hi, Bravefoot! Congratulations on purchasing your very first book! It excites me tremendously, as you’re about to embark on the ultimate dream I treasure in my heart for all runners+walkers globally: being able to create a wealth of glory days from today onwards – for you to relive+brag about whenever you feel like it – but more so to sustain you in the empty years to come after you’ve decided to hang up your running/walking shoes: the empty time in your life when golden memories play such an important part of your daily life…

Why? So that, on the day they turn 85 years old, they can sit back and rejoice in a glorious 80-year epic of their entire lifetime! What an awesome once–in–a–lifetime achievement! And because our little ones are so precious, I’ve compiled a special book for them, which is child-friendly: Little Bravefootsies – for Little Lambs+Kids. And, what’s more, they themselves choose when they want to switch over to the Big Bravefoot Book – when they’re brave enough, that’s …show more content…

Gail Devers a retired Olympic track star and a Hall of Fame inductee once said, “Sometimes we fall, sometimes we stumble, but we can’t stay down. We can’t allow life to beat us down. Everything happens for a reason, and it builds character in us, and it tells us what we are about and how strong we really are when we didn’t think we could be that strong.” In Laura Hillenbrand’s nonfiction book Unbroken, the ambitious Louis Zamperini brought Devers words to life over the course of his track career and his perilous time as a POW. In short, because of Louis Zamperini undying need to succeed no matter the challenge that he faced, Hillenbrand gave audiences this unforgettable story of survival.…

Lately there have been a lot of break-ins and armed robberies in Jimboomba by ‘teenagers’. They’ve been demanding money from store clerks, some with knifes, baseball bats, and anything in between. To be honest I do not find the joy in doing such a thing, I believe that if you work hard enough to earn a living you will feel as if you have done well in this life and honestly I wouldn’t feel good knowing I have someone else’s hard earned money all to myself. I know that some of the crimes committed aren’t so bad, but the teens should be punished to learn from their mistakes, I believe that by doing so it will cause the community to feel safer and engage the government to make Jimboomba a better place to live.…

Hey Xoe, please talk to your following about Standing Rock. More people need to know about what’s happening, because it’s horrible. It seems as though our native people are losing once again. Police are tormenting them on their land. I’m not sure if you know about what is happening, but I feel like it’s important to know, or to educate as many people as possible on the subject. A short summary of this situation would be that there is a an oil pipeline being put through the Standing Rock reservation in North and South Dakota. If you didn’t know oil pipelines have high rates of leaking which would cause the Native Americans living there not be able to use the natural water sources such a lake and rivers. The pipes also will most likely exploded,…

Someone once said, “who said you can’t let people scare you. You can’t go your whole life trying to please everyone else. You can’t go through life worried about what everyone else is going to think. Whether it’s your hair, clothes, what you have to say, how you feel, what you believe and what you have. You can’t let the judgment of others stop you from being you. Because if you do, you're no longer you. You're someone everyone else wants you to be.” Nobody thought that Seabiscuit was good enough to race but in reality they just did not understand him. Once Red Pollard, Tom Smith, and Charles Howard bought Seabiscuit and started using frontier training methods he learned a lot more and started winning. Do not judge someone based on their appearance;…

Athleticism, otherwise know as an active interest in sports or an obsessive participation in physical activity seems to engulf my life. This characteristic resembles active, but includes the athletic and a physical activity associated with engaging in an action. Although being athletic seems as simple as tossing a ball around the backyard, it’s difficult to measure the amount fitness and effort required for a completive competition such as a marathon. It’s also important to consider calculating the athletic statistics and achievements of an individual throughout a game or even an entire career. Athleticism can be evaluated be observing an athlete’s performance levels during multiple stages of a football or soccer match.…

PTSD or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is a psychiatric disorder that can occur following the experience or witnessing of life-threatening events such as the military combat, natural disasters, terrorism incidents, or any major tragedy. This is common in the life of veterans and is the leading cause of suicide among veterans. A VA patient who survived in Baghdad shares his experience with PTSD and explains how he knew he had this disability. Many veterans speak out about this issue and describe their continuous anger, alcohol addiction, and constantly wanted to fight. They usually feel very isolated and distant from their loved ones. One patient states, “PTSD involves rocketing into extreme states of stress re-activity; in the form of terror, rage, and uncontrollable impulses, and plunging into equally extreme states of being shut-down—exhaustion, emotional numbing, despair, and dissociation”. PTSD is about having fear and anxiety, allowing veterans to rage with anger and different emotion. There are many factors to PTSD, which affects others in different ways; or example, using video games to keep them occupied, spending money due to the lack of impulse control because of changes in their brain, and even not obtaining another job.…
