Digital Natives are the generation of people born after 1980, into a truly digital world. More and more of who we are today are being displayed for the world to see digitally. Thus becoming part of our (E)dentity. The large amount of technology accessible in the world today can do wonderful things for future generations, unless the young people destroy the internet. The things a person post on their Facebook page, twitter feed, or blog never go away, they leave a trace. Something you might have done when you were in college could later be seen by a future employer looking to higher you. All of this explains the reason behind why parents, teachers, and psychologists are worried about what young people actually spend their time doing. Of course there are the big risks of pornography, violence, and cyber bulling that could all be happening but how would we know. Discovering out ways to prevent accidents from happening can help bring you closer as a family and a parent. Ways of the past can actually be used now to solve majority of the problems. Now not only are the parents at risk but think of all the companies changing today as technology grows. We no longer need television guides to know what is on TV or a newspaper to read the news. How about when doing research do you go down to your local library and check out books you think will be helpful, no, the answer today for almost every problem is the internet. Don’t know a fact?
