Bones casting crew analysis
Bones is an American crime comedy-drama television series that premiered on the Fox network in the United States on September 13, 2005. The show is based on forensic anthropology and forensic archaeology, with each episode focusing on an FBI case file concerning the mystery behind human remains brought by FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) to the forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan (Emily Deschanel). The rest of the main cast includes Michaela Conlin, T. J. Thyne, Eric Millegan, Tamara Taylor, Jonathan Adams, and John Francis Daley.
Created by Hart Hanson, the series is very loosely based on the life and writings of novelist and forensic anthropologist Kathy Reichs, who also produces the show. Its title character, Temperance Brennan, is named after the protagonist of Reichs' crime novel series. Conversely, Dr. Brennan writes successful mystery novels based around a fictional (in the Bones universe) forensic anthropologist named Kathy Reichs. Bones is a joint production by Josephson Entertainment, Far Field Productions and 20th Century Fox Television.

Cast and characters
Main cast * Emily Deschanel as Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan: a forensic anthropologist working at the renowned Jeffersonian Institute located in Washington, D.C. She is an empiricist and author of crime fiction based on her experiences. Her lack of social skills provides most of the show's lighthearted humor, primarily through her catchphrase, "I don't know what that means", whenever a pop culture reference is introduced into conversation. She and Booth begin a relationship near the end of season six, and in season seven, they live together with their daughter. * David Boreanaz as Seeley Booth: Brennan aids FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth in his investigations involving human remains that cannot be identified without Brennan's skills in forensic anthropology. Booth is often used to provide a layman's translation of

In the story "Bones" by J. Lee Engfer, we meet a young, 27 year old, self diagnosed hypochondriac named Lea who acts as if she doesn't appreciate life. Lea in the beginning of the story is a pessimist but towards the end we see a change in her ideas and thinking until she becomes optimistic about her life. We also meet a young spirited older woman named Thea who is vivacious and fun loving with a sense of style which makes her almost 1940's Hollywood-esque, with the neck scarves and painted on eyebrows. The story is a small look into Lea's life. We learn key points about her such as her mother passing away, and her self-diagnosed hypochondria. It's Halloween and Lea and her friend Thea go for a walk to Lake Harriet near Thea's house. Lea has an epiphany about her life. The theme of the story is about living your life to the fullest. The idea that Lea is a hypochondriac could have an even deeper meaning, such as Lea representing the oppression of society in today which is seen almost everywhere with people who do not make an effort to make their lives worthwhile.…

A trained forensic anthropologist can identify gender, ethnicity, age, illness, and possible careers, just by looking and touching bones (PBS, 1). They record data, put bones together, and determine possible cause of death. Forensic Anthropologists also have to spend hours in a lab, with little breaks, to make sure that their calculations are correct and precise. “The experts take notes and photographs to arrange and preserve the arrangement of the body” (PBS, 1). They organize the victim’s bones in its original shape so that studying them will be easier, this is usually a long process depending on the condition of the victim’s bones. If the condition is overall good the time to organize the bones unlike when the conditions is unrecognizable. Forensic Anthropologists take a heavy selection of science courses including: Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Physiology. So that they will be prepared when they have to determine the death cause of a victim. Another good class to take is a Law and Order class, this class will be beneficial because forensics deal with the law in plenty of cases. When forensic gather enough information they identify the victim and show it to the authorities so that the FBI can see if the victim had conflict with family members, and if they had a dispute with someone that might’ve wanted to kill…

The book The Farming of Bones is a constant reminder of loss and regret shared by almost all of the characters. The story is a tragic event in itself but the character’s pain doesn’t start with the massacre. Throughout the story, water is a reoccurring entity not always shown in a positive light. This is what makes the ending scene difficult to interpret and the significance varies between readers. In the ending scene, Amabelle is laying naked in the river “waiting for a new dawn” not really hinting if this new dawn is in heaven or still on earth. Personally, I believe Danticat is insinuating Amabelle is preparing herself for death from the way he uses water in other situations that do not turn out well for the characters.…

I’ve always had the ambition to become a Forensic Science Technician. When I was younger I would dress up in a lab coat, play with my microscope, and take notes as if I was a researcher in a lab. My family always refers to me as “the investigator”. I am thrilled to get involved in Crime Scene Investigation and going to court for injustices. When I become a Forensic Science Tech I want to focus on biological research and collecting clues to solve crimes. As I was researching contributors to Biology, I came across Dr. William Montague Cobb. His contemporaries were Arthur Huff Fauset, William Allison Davis, St. Clair Drake, Elliott P. Skinner, and John Langston Gwaltney. I wanted to research someone who has or had a strong interest in science like myself. I also wanted to research someone who continuously gave or gives back to their community because community service is a big part of my life. Although his main focus was anthropology, his many accomplishments and contributions to biology influenced me to do continued research, persuading me to write my paper on him. Likewise, his endless involvement in shaping the nation caught my attention.…

Sleepy Hollow is a new television series currently running on the FOX network. Airing on September 16, Sleepy Hollow is a modern twist on Washington Irving’s classic tale of Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman. Ichabod Crane, played by actor Tom Mison, is a revolutionary soldier “resurrected” in the present-day town of Sleepy Hollow along with his foe, the Headless Horseman. The show explores the legend of the Apocalypse, with Ichabod and his companion Lieutenant Abbie Mills, played by actress Nicole Beharie, as the two witnesses who must try and stop the coming of the Four Horseman and the end of the world. Sleepy Hollow has only been on air for three months with a total of 9 episodes but seems to already have a loyal following, similar to the creators Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci former serialized sci-fi show Fringe. The show is filmed primarily in Wilmington, North Carolina by 20th Century Fox Television and has already been renewed for a second season in 2014.…
