ESL reading I have a friend name Mary who was married to a pauper man. At the beginning, they were
insight to solve things together. However, that woman was the only one working in the family, and has three children with the guy. One day, the husband had an inconceivable headache while Mary was at
work doing double shifts. Later one, she came over, and gave him a Tylenol and the pain vanish right
the way. On the other hand, the husband was very superstitious when he got sick. Also, there was
another time, Mary couldn’t to work because she was suspended. Therefore, there was an insufficient
supply of food in the house. Although that happened to friend Mary, she has faith in God would do
some miracles. Perhaps, the husband started blaming himself saying that he should be able to take
responsibility of his family. After couple weeks, Mary got back to work because she had a lawyer to plead for her. Thank goodness, the husband had an accomplishment in his life which was finding a job.
Before he found that job, he was an enthusiasm man. Since life has been changed for him, he prowled for women on the street. As a result, he has neglected the family, and betrayed them until they have fallen apart.
