I guess it’s suggesting that once you’re behind you can never catch up or you’ll always be behind no matter how minute the distance. So the cultural legacy will never catch up or reach the end?

This tells us that the social organization is based off of Karma, which is a part of their religion. So their religion plays a major role in the social structures of their societies.
It doesn’t really give us new insight as to what their social structures are like. We can just assume that they still strive to reach Brahman. Faith is a big part of their culture.
In the Indus valley Caste systems are used
India believes that anyone can reach Brahmin not just the highest social class
The basis of there beliefs are generally the same but the way they reach higher levels or even the possibility to do so is different

Greece’s structure is based off a government and political powers

Political representation by geography not kinship- based tribes
City-states: territorial sovereignty
Competition and constant warfare
