Current Problems faced by organisation
The strong Australian dollar is being a burden for Blue Scope to continue to trade in; its high value makes Blue Scope look uncompetitive in terms of price in the international market. The global financial crisis has cause the dropping demand of steel also contributes to Blue Scope slowdown, thus lower revenue and lower profits. Overall the slowdown in the developing countries (which is a major consumer of steel) contributed to the drop in demand.
