Innocence and Knowledge
Introduction Paragraph (Lead) As we live we learn many things that make us grow into adults. As we reach out adult hood our innocence is taken away from all that we have seen, heard, and learned about. (Title, Author, Summary) In the book “Bless Me, Ultima” by Rudolfo Anaya, Antonio is the main character. He is a very young and innocent boy. Antonio’s struggle is trying to find himself and answering all the questions he has about God and evil. Antonio is afraid to lose his innocence so he tries to grip to it as tightly as possible. Antonio comes to realize that as he lives all the knowledge he has gain makes him lose his innocence.
