Blake is a very popular artist who gets a lot of attention. He has won 14 music awards for many different things. It is only logical for a good artist like Blake to be recognized.     While R.E.M. was struggling with the idea of selling out Bruce Springsteen knew where he wanted to take his music and kept his creative control.
