Bisclavret In A Midsummer Night's Tale
Bisclavret’s wife says she was terrified and did what she did for her own good. There is no proven evidence she is a very harsh and harmful beast. Becoming a werewolf secret was told way before, also there was no sign of anything before the wife knew in any sort. Also there was no harmful actions done of any sort. ”For three whole days in every week her lord was absent from her side, She knew not where he went, nor on what errand neither did any of his house know the business which called him forth.” Shows that baron’s secret had been constantly told way before, unknown to his wife, baron had no sign of attacking her or being violent in a way.
Not a monster in any kind of way does not have emotions nor feelings. Loved his wife with all their heart before was betrayed. ”This baron was wedded to a very worthy dame, right fair to see, and sweet of semblance. He is a respected and honest men to his fellow neighbors and ones around him. ”He was a stout Knight, and a comely and a man of office and repute.” He was such an honest person to his wife, he would always tell her where he was and what he was going to do. He had no shame about turning into a werewolf and his wife knew he did not want her to use it against him.
