Birth Of Baby Jesus Research Paper
Chosen, that was what I felt that day. I would be rented for useless tasks until a man named Joseph came. I am the Donkey who carried Mary to Bethlehem and this is my story about the birth of baby Jesus. It was the most amazing thing that had ever happened to me. I was chosen to journey with Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem and see baby Jesus.
The first thing that happened to me was being chosen by God to be the one who carries Mary all the way to Bethlehem. My whole life was to be rented to people who had useless purposes for me. I was always dreading the next task I had to do until a man named Joseph came to get me. I knew that this man would be good. When I saw the lady standing next to him I knew that I was chosen for something special. I

Most days I came home to an empty house but I learned to care for myself and I grew up, maybe before I was ready. Friends, sports, hobbies, school and work consumed most of my time. One of my best friends was a boy named Jacob, who pushed me to enroll in the most challenging classes and make the best grades possible. We were competitive, but we both wanted each other to do the best imaginable in everything. Every chance I had, I spent it with him and his family. An empty house no longer consumed my afternoons. Mid sophomore year, Jacob died in a car crash, a car that I almost got into. My world seemed over, including my grades, as if I needed him to make the marks I had before. Returning to the grades and personality that I had before seemed somewhat impossible. However, I knew there was a reason that I did not get into that car that day, I had a purpose. Life seemed to be full of gaps, yet God began to fill them. To this day, every test I take, everything I do, I imagine both Jacob and my father sitting beside me, telling me to live out my purpose, whatever it may be. My top competitor was gone, but I gained an angel that day, one who is by my side in everything I do. Although there existed a period that I struggled, I overcame…

Being a Christian and a student of Communications, I felt compelled to reading The Case for Christ. I decided to use this book for this review especially due to the large amount of criticisms and backlash it had received. Lee Strobel is known for being a hard-nosed skeptical journalist and ex-investigative reporter for the Chicago Tribune. He also described himself as a "former spiritual skeptic" before his personal mission for the proof of God. Skeptics around the world claim that Jesus either never said He was God or He never exemplified the activities and mindset of God. Either way they rather triumphantly proclaim that Jesus was just a man. Some will go so far as to suggest that He was a very moral and special man, but a man nonetheless. For Strobel, there was far too much evidence against the idea of God, let alone the possibility that God became a man. God was just mythology, superstition, or wishful thinking.…

Although not very important, I took the liberty this past month(Black History) to document my research to the age old question, "Was Jesus Black," after a small debate with my auntie Angelina Quarterman arguing that He was a Jew, and Jews are White(lol). The typical Hollywood image in which ancient Israelites look like fair-haired White Americans is way off the mark. The people of the bible were Semitic(Afro-Asiatic languages) and would have been dark- skinned. The racial emnity & equating Black with evil was an unfortunate development in later Europe, devised in part to justify African slavery.…

In this paper I will be making the case that Pontius Pilates crucifying of Jesus was not only a political move but also an act to dominate the generally not so compliant Jewish populace of Judea. This act of domination was a Roman tactic used throughout their stay in the region and to Pontius Pilate, Jesus was a mere stepping stone on his way to complete subjugation of the indigenous peoples and to stronger alliances with the Jewish aristocracy and Herod Antipas.…

The first event that I choose was graduating high school. The reason I choose this event and experience is because no one in my family had ever graduated high school. My mother, father, nor my brother ever got a high school education. Although, my mother and father never married I can remember them both saying that they didn’t finish high school. My father got a GED but my mother still to this day doesn’t have either a high school diploma or GED. My brother just quit school at the age of 17 and took to the streets. So this was very important ordeal for me. I can also remember other family members say that I wasn’t going to graduate high school or I would come up pregnant while in high school because my circumstances was different than everyone in the family. I proved them all wrong and graduated high school without becoming pregnant and most of the one’s that was downing me their kids ended up pregnant in high school and didn’t graduate high school.…

The baptism of Jesus was not only the fulfilment of the scripture, besides; he was Baptist as a way of identifying with sinners. Moreover, since he is the law, and was born under the law, his baptism certified his fulfilment of the law. Besides, his baptism serves as the one man’s obedience, so that many would be made righteous (Romans 5:19). In addition, his public baptism by John, reveal to the people that he was truly the son of God. “And the Holy Spirit descended on him in the bodily form, like a dove; and a voice came from heaven “You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased” (Luke 2:22).…

In 2006, a well-known priest, Fr. Robert Barron, met Dr. Brant Pitre. Just a short time into their acquaintanceship, the two found that they shared a strong dislike for the “telephone game” analogy that was used by some who did not believe in the historical accuracy of the Bible. Fr. Barron declared that a book should be written “refuting that stupid comparison!” Dr. Pitre took on that challenge, inspired by his former crisis of faith which grew from his university days. This endeavor resulted in The Case for Jesus, a slim, meticulously organized book seeking to answer one question in particular: did Jesus of Nazareth claim to be God? This paper will examine the structure, content, strengths, and weaknesses of The Case for Jesus in order…

They took my sister in to check her and to see if she was ready for labor. We waited in the waiting room to see what was going to happen next. Then the nurse came out and called for my sister’s husband Ismael. He told my mom to go with him, and then my mom told my little brother Manuel and me to wait there in the waiting room with my big brother Jesus. I thought, “She is going to have the babe.” We waited patiently in the waiting room. My older brother Noe and his wife Carolina arrived. Then more of the family arrived. We went to the cafeteria to get something to eat. We were coming back and I told my brother, “Here comes Ismael.” Ismael comes out and told us, “Abraham was born.”…
