Biofield Therapeutics: Touch Therapy
Initially, Biofield Therapeutics is a therapy that is known as touch therapy where the practitioner's hand is approximately 1 inch away from the patient and they balance the patient's “energy field”. This practice has been practiced since the ancient chinese time, but you must have skill to perform it. From reading and thoroughly examining the text the author believes biofield therapeutics is a legitimate healing practice. The author is for it because he gives an accurate description of the practice, gives an example of a study, gives the benefits of the practice.
To continue, the author begins explaining what kind biofield therapeutics are. If the author wasn't very for the practice he would not devote a whole paragraph to the definition of the practice. “The power if the healer is even more explicitly summoned in “biofield therapeutics,” commonly known as touch therapy, though it would be more accurate to call it no-touch therapy, since the …show more content…
When Emily Rosa performed double-blind test and only got a 44% accuracy it was already proven impossible. “Touch therapists explain that double-blind trials are not possible. (Paragraph 4).” Even if the study was not successful the other types of biofield therapeutics still work. While it is common that not everything has a 100% accuracy it can work for some and not others.
In conclusion, the author definitely believes that biofield therapeutics is a legitimate healing practice. He proves it by giving an accurate description of the practice, how it affects you emotionally, and how it is beneficial. Biofield therapeutics has been practiced since the ancient chinese and if it wasn't good for you why would they still practice it? There are many articles proving how it it can help you emotionally and physically including this one. Next time you need relief from pain or an adjunct to surgery try using biofield
