Week 1 Assignment – Cells in the Lab
October 11, 2013
Part 1

While researching the latest equipment on the market for analyzing cells in the lab, I came across the Physiospect Diagnostics NLS.

This unit was developed in Russia by inventor Vladimir Zagriadski. Under the name of Physioscan and Physiospect, it is a tool which is marketed to the alternative medicine field. Physiospect is a computer-based product which is to be able to make diagnoses of diseases in a very short time only by an analysis of electromagnetic waves. Nach Spekulationen des Herstellers sollen die gemeinten elektromagnetischen Wellen vom Körper der untersuchten Person ausgehen. It is able to interpret the electromagnetic waves emanating from the body of the person examined. Zusätzlich soll das System auch im Sinne der therapeutische Effekte haben. In addition, the system also uses bio-resonance to achieve therapeutic effects. Das System ist weitgehend identisch mit dem Scharlatanerieprodukt . The system is largely identical to the Scharlatanerieprodukt Introspect.
According to the manufacturer, an infrared laser emits a laser beam on the surface of the head. The person being examined wears headphones which allows the system to hear the waves of bio-feedback which originate from the brain stem. The headphones are connected to a computer. Readings from the headphones allow a type of radio directional finding which attempt to locate certain frequencies specific to certain diseases of the body.
The system can also be used to provide therapeutic effects. Diese werden undeutlich als "Meta Therapie" bezeichnet. These are referred to vaguely as "meta therapy."

As technology continues to advance organizations are able to implement new cost effective ways to do business. Instead of paying various employees a large salary year after year, they can spend a considerable one time amount on software. In turn, the organization can eliminate a few staff members and save on personnel cost. One way an organization can take of technology is through electronic recruiting, because it has the ability to reach a wider range of audiences. By reaching a larger audience the HR division can have access to more talented professionals seeking employment. By having access to a larger number of applicants, one has a greater chance of selecting the most competent applicant for the job position. What is popular today may not be tomorrow; what is affordable today may not be tomorrow; what is promised today may not be tomorrow; what is doable or legal today may not be tomorrow; and what is cutting edge today may not be tomorrow. These are the facts of life and of business. In a world that is continuously evolving, changing, and growing so too must the business world. They work with one another in order to carry out daily life activities and maintain the body’s proper functions. Among these organ systems lies one of the most important, the nervous system. The nervous system functions as the control center of the body, and it is in charge of the activities of the rest of the organs systems and the body’s components (Marieb, E.N. & Hoehn, K.). It helps the body communicate external environmental factors via electrical impulses that are transmitted through cells called neurons. These neurons can be up to a meter long and target a specific effector which it will help…
