Binge drinking is a major issue in the US today. Binge drinking for men is when you drink five or more drinks between two and three hours. For women it's four or more drinks in the same time span. Research shows that most of the 38 million Americans that admit to binge drinking drink even 8 drinks in the two to three hours. Alcohol poisoning can cause you to choke and loose your breath it can even cause you to die. Binge drinking is a serious and “critical health issue facing this nation”. This relates to what we're learning right now because we just finished our alcohol unit. We are also learning about the dangers of drinking and driving.
