Chapter I
INTRODUCTION

In the past generation, man’s work was too slow that caused too much time and effort to finish their work but now a days, it is easier, faster and more convenient because of technology. People are now living in a fast-paced way that one must learn to cope–up to become more competitive with the help of technology. And because of technology, many have shared their skills and knowledge to improve the technologies that are available to us these days. The target user of this study is the Hoa Enterprises Management and Personnel. It is an enterprise selling. The company is trying to meet their target sale to maintain the business and to earn profit every single day. Their major problem, regarding the time consumed when a customer is asking for specific parts they need. The Hoa Enterprise is also having a difficulty in their inventory of products because in the manual system, they have to check each and every cellphone parts and accessories to know if those are still available. To attend to their needs, the study focuses on the development of comprehensive computer based inventory management system that will helps the company save time, effort and manage properly their products. Also, the proposed system provides an easier communication with their customers.

Project Context

The proposed system can help the company to avoid overstocking. It will organize the company’s database to manipulation of data will be easier. Likewise, the proposed system will generate reports, so management can be updated regarding the inventory of their product.

Purpose and Descriptions

The proposed system will be a great help to the Hoa Enterprise for improving company’s performance. The use of a computerized inventory management system can help the target user to minimize waste of time and also make it possible to direct available resources in more productive directions rather than continuing to spend money on items
