1. Among the list of job description including your role as a team leader, which ones do you find to be the most rewarding and which ones are not interesting to you?
As a clinical social worker, I like helping people and working with them have always had a special place in my mind and I find that very rewarding even if working with then in a therapy session or working with an individual about a specific social need like housing; I like the role of a team leader and having to work with all members of our team and other team members but the part that is not interesting to me is having to look for staffing in the event of a call in by providers; My biggest challenge is dealing with providers that have a full schedule and asking then to help cover a colleague who is out sick; The benefit of seeing that the needs of veterans are met at the end of the day is always very beneficial but the how to get there may be challenging at times. It does prepare me for possibly going into the administration in the future.

One that comes to mind is while working as a team leader within this interdisciplinary team, we had just changed to the use of Behavioral health inter disciplinary model (BHIP) as the frame work of how metal health teams were arranged. This involved changing of various individual grids to accommodate this model; It was very challenging because it required working with grids of physicians, NPs, Pas, psychologist, social workers, Licensed marriage and family counselors, peer support specialist and others; Initially, it was a monumental task but at the end of it was extremely rewarding and the fact that I had to interact with all these professionals to ensure that assessments were done at times when paired.
