Benjamin divided the twenty four hours he had into sections that he could live by. Every morning Ben would initiate his day off by waking up at 5 a.m. He devoted his morning to washing up, praying, handling day business, prosecute studying, and breakfast. He quoted out important praying was a part of his life style. He said “conceiving God to be the Fountain of Wisdom, to this End I form’d the following prayer to my daily Use” (Page 526 the Norton). Ben was an organize person, a person who’s always on track. The early bird always catches the worm, is a prime example of Ben. All of this would be done by 7 a.m. I personally wouldn’t be able to function. I’m not a morning compared to Benjamin. It was his want to succeed. He knew it’ll be a struggle to learn this routine but he kept pushing through. He was a very wise and intelligent person with hard work ethics. He gave himself a reason to fight and push, never giving up. He understood that the world wasn’t full of sunshine and rainbows. He knew it’ll take dedication and determination. That’s what I’ve enjoyed about Benjamin Franklin. He made me believe that it isn’t about how hard you try but it’s about how you can fail but keep moving forward.
