Benefits To The National Honor Society
It is a pleasure and great honor to be invited to join and be among such a prestigious organization. The National Honor Society has obtained my attention because its is a great opportunity that enables a student to provide a helping hand with the members of the community , and a range of opportunities that a student might never have. Benefits I would bring to the organization are my positive attitude toward helping other, my ability to work well with others, a sense of creative ideas, and the ability to stand for my beliefs yet acknowledge and take in consideration constructive criticism and opinions. The benefits I would obtain from this organization are situations where one can grow as a person by building character, leadership, and nobility

There are many accomplishments in my life of which I am proud, however there are two for which I am especially proud. Those being, having the opportunity to play varsity shortstop in high school, and having good enough grades to be nominated for, and to be admitted into, the National Honor Society. These accomplishments make me proud because they are goals that I was able to set and accomplish for myself. These are successes that not everyone can say that they have achieved.…

National Junior Honor Society is a great opportunity for me; something that I am really excited to have. I would love to be involved in NJHS and share my ideas and listen to others ideas about fundraisers and collecting donations. I believe I have all the qualities to be apart of the NJHS. At Christmas we have gone around caroling to people in the Greenwich area. Being an applicant for the NJHS is an honor. I would love being considered for NJHS.…

National Junior Honor Society is a great opportunity for me; something that I am really excited to be apart of. I’ve been tossing and turning in bed for the past month wondering what to write or how to prepare myself for such an extraordinary honor to become apart of the NJHS. All through my life I’ve thought of myself as a leader, never a follower. I would love to be apart of this establishment to share my thoughts and ideas for fundraisers and collecting donations, but also to listen and consult of what others have to say because there is no leader without the help of his/her people. I believe I possess all the qualities to be apart of the NJHS; Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character. I enjoy helping the needy and have participated in some charities. For example, the Relay for Life charity that donates money to former or new cancer patients undergoing chemo therapy. My mother and I attend every year and donate money. We also have a grand old time going, participating and helping out because my mother is a breast cancer…

My grades are my top priority. Classmates in school admire me and call me “smart”, I, in the other hand, do not think of myself as smart. Being on National Honor Society and sports teams throughout high school, I had enjoyed participating in many volunteer experiences before coming to Drake. Every year our basketball team would collect food around our community to be donated to various food drives in nearby cities. With only general assumptions about food pantries, I always wondered how they worked. Now, after being able to volunteer at the IMPACT food pantry over the last few months, my original assumptions about food panties has transformed. The service-learning class I took this semester challenged many other perspectives in my life.…
