Benefits Of Vegetarianism
Vegetarianism has become very popular nowadays. Vegetarian restaurants are everywhere and are becoming popular because of the rise of vegetarianism. Many people are vegetarians or on the road of becoming one. I myself is a vegetarian. Well, what exactly does it mean to be a vegetarian? Basically it's someone who doesn't eat meat or any animals products because of many different reasons. Vegetarianism is a touchy subject because some people who are non- vegetarians think it is dumb and pointless. Vegetarianism is not dumb or pointless. In my opinion, being a vegetarian is good because there are many benefits to being one.

Growing up did your parents always tell you to eat your vegetables because it is good for you? Well, your parents were telling the truth. Vegetables are in fact very good and healthy for us. Many different vegetables have a ton of different benefits. The most common benefit is fiber. Almost all vegetables contains fiber which helps flush the waste and toxins out of your body. Of course getting rid of those waste and toxins inside of our body is a good thing. It makes us feel good and clean on the inside and outside. Being a vegetarian means you consume a lot of vegetables. The more vegetables you consume, the better it is for you.

Finally, many people disagree with vegetarianism because we need meat in our diet for protein, and in some case this is true. However, not including meat in our diet doesn't mean we suffer from the loss of protein. Many people worry about that but there are actually ways to get your protein without consuming meat. For example, specific vegetables and nuts contains protein, you can also take protein supplements which is fairly common. Either way there's no loss of protein just because meat isn't included in a

    A very common misconception is the mislabeling and generalization of those considering themselves to be vegetarians. Vegetarian is used to describe people who exclude meat, poultry, fish, or any other animal derived food from their diet. However, within the generalized term "vegetarian" come numerous different forms of the lifestyle, each classified based on the degree to which animal products are excluded from their diet and the reasoning such as ethical, religious, health. The different groups of vegetarianism fall along an imaginary spectrum, with semi-vegetarians, who are often excluded entirely due to behaviors conflicting with the practice, on one end of the spectrum and at the opposite end are vegans, the strictest of vegetarianism. The semi vegetarians, or those who exclude animal products from their lifestyle to some degree, are often banished by true vegetarians. This is partially due to the fact that semi vegetarians consume some sort of animal products, thereby contradicting the definition of the term. However, semi vegetarians' motivations are highly different. Some are obligated by religious beliefs to refrain from eating particular types of meats.     One advantage that cannot be disputed is that vegetarian’s conscience can be at peace in the sense that he does not cause the death of animals grown for meat and fat such as rabbits, poultry or pigs. This idea alone persuades many people, especially women to start embracing vegetarianism as their way of life. Another undisputable advantage of vegetarianism is that long-term vegetarians are rarely overweight thus people can make losing weight easier by becoming vegetarians.
