“Bound by paperwork, short on hands, sleep and energy; nurses are rarely short on caring,” a quote said by Sharon Hudacek, where she expresses that nurses are caring even when they are exhausted. Being a registered nurse is not only an important job, but a privilege also. These people have decided that they want to spend they lifetime and career caring for other people and making sure other people are healthy. Registered nurses are people who will take care of others, even if they are exhausted, hungry, or not feeling too well themselves. There are certain roles a registered nurse has along with the skills the job requires. The career outlook is successful and there are many different types of nurses and different working environments. These nurses also have strict rules to ensure none of the patients are injured while being taken care of. All of this help contribute to the safety of the patients and workers so nobody is harmed. Nurses have job requirements and require skill, have a successful job outlook, have a variety of jobs and working environments and have a variety of hours to work.

These rules help protect them from danger such as radiation, needle incidents, and using chemicals to keep things clean. Nurses often come into contact with people who have diseases and they must be careful and follow guidelines to make sure other so not catch the disease also. Since hospitals are open for twenty-four house, the working schedules vary. They have to work nights, weekends, holidays and they are always on call. Not all nurses work all hours because of their work environment. Nurses that work in schools, or physicians’ offices, or at community cares do not work all hours because they are not open twenty-four hours like hospitals and military
