Banning Headers In Youth Soccer
Some people believe that if they ban headers in youth soccer it will modify one of the fundamentals of how soccer is played and that the percent of change that it will bring if they do ban headers isn’t high enough for all people to agree on. People argue they would rather stress on more illegal body contact. But one of my team mates and longtime friends got brain problems because he headed to much in the game. It was one of our last games of the season he went for a header, and then after he hit the ball he fell to the ground unconscious. When he was taken to the hospital, he had a very bad concussion and had never damage in his neck.

It is able to lead to not simply concussions, but it could have an effect to put the player out of the sport for life. Children which might be having concussions and maintain playing in the future are extra vulnerable to having head injuries later in their life. It affects all players of the sport, but more than others are youth players. This would help kids worldwide that are at the age and over to decrease the amount of brain damage done and the amount of concussions. After the death of a couple of soccer players some young, some old. Youth leagues have started to make changes in their practice by lessening the amount of practice of headers and making sure it is only used at certain times.
Headers should be banned for kids until they are at the age of fully developed and then let them play with less risk to them. Headers are the leading causes of concussion in soccer, but people are arguing that if they do change it won’t change that percent enough for them to allow them to make this change, But I think that they should, I don’t want anybody or any parents to feel how I felt when my friend got taken out of the sport for
