Online Bookstore Reservation System Final Project Documentation

Software Engineering - IT303 Alba, Jeremy Brian Alcantara, Jenica Rose

ABSTRACT In the state of the industry today, business corporations, companies, and institutions use computers to improve transactions, work, record keeping, and knowledge-sharing in the organization. These organizations use systems to make work more accurate, fast and efficient and these systems that are being used today are the results of the research that are conducted by programmers and IT professionals. These people specialize on making systems that simply makes life simpler. Almost every large organizations use systems not only to improve their way of work but also to innovate themselves. This gave the students an idea to conduct a research about a new company or organization in the industry to help them improve and innovate their way of work. The system that will be conducting is about the Reservation System of Lyceum of the Philippines University-Cavite Bookstore. Helping the university bookstore to manage their business very well. The system contains only reservation of books. And a panel for the database of records. Submitted reservation will be directed to the database at the admin panel. Less time for the admin and client in having a transaction. Because upon claiming, client will just only pay for the product. System is available 24/7. But the reservation will be only received when the bookstore opens. This system will help quite a bit, especially the students at
