Autonomy In Workplace
Autonomy in my case refers to the level of freedom that an employee enjoys at workplace. As an employee and as a manager, autonomy provides a supportive ground for the success of both the other employees and the entire organization. For instance, in my case, autonomy has enhanced the effectiveness of the responsibilities in the sense that I have authority to set new standards and review my subordinates and their roles and duties. It means that while at work place, some of crucial decisions are entirely my mandate. It feels very motivating when entrusted with responsibilities at workplace.
The level of autonomy at my workplace is considerably high. Although, too much of autonomy can be harmful to both an employee and the organization, it is

    First of all I’ll have to say I was surprised by the results of the questionnaire taken as it showed that I’m a moderately autonomy supportive (MA) manager.
