Autism Informative Speech
The government often plays a large role in one’s life. This is especially true when that person’s life is impacted by autism. When impacted by Autism, whether it be through a brother, sister, son, or daughter, the cost of care, education, and medication can easily become a financial nightmare for the family. This is why it is crucial that the government continues to help find a cure or means to prevent autism, while continuing federal aid to the families affected by it, and properly utilizing money spent on behalf of the CARE Act.

As far as we know autism in an incurable disorder that many researchers believe to be caused by (what about genetics?) genetics (WebMD). However, preventative measures can be made both during and after pregnancy to decrease the chance of autism.

Currently, most dietary treatments are based on allergies or vitamin and mineral deficiencies. With the help of government funding more research can be done to either prove this idea to be true or false. If allergies or vitamin and mineral deficiencies create symptoms of autism then it is important to better educate families of this issue.
Although there is no cure for autism medication has been proven to help with certain symptoms. Medication can be prescribed to aid in managing high energy levels, inability to focus, depression and seizures.
Although these approaches are not guaranteed to work, it is a step in the right direction to reduce the risk of inheriting (NEED ANOTHER WORD FOR INHERITING) autism or minimize the disorder effects through treatment. Treatment for the disorder sounds like a good solution, however treatments and education are just part of the monumental expenses associated with having
