This is what happened in the time of the Holocaust to the Jews. Adolf Hitler, the dictator of Germany, ruled with the Nazis thinking Jews were “the scum of the earth”. Jews were sent to concentration camps and lived a life knowing they would die soon. They were forced to work and if they didn’t their punishment varied, but it was usually death. These concentration camps led to many deaths and only a few survivors. Those who did survive are silent about the tragedy they went through, but some give their testimony against the Holocaust.
