Have you given the tutoring pass for this week? I asked Nicole, but she said she had not gotten any. Although I have explained to Nicole that is her responsibility to remind you about the passes, she has had many problems at the school in the last couple of months due to miss up of the attention deficit medication. Today, we are taking her to see the doctor to discuss the issue, but I wanted you to know that the medication is critical for her to be successful at school.     I replied that I was uncomfortable with the approach because Matthew adores his teacher and it was not my intention to ruin the relationship over homework which he has always found difficult. I decided to speak to Matthew's teacher, Mr. Washerman, after the meeting while waiting to pick up the children from school.
