Attached is the revised hearing memo. I highlighted the portion added about “last mile” service agreements. Important to note that Claire McCaskill (D-MO) was incredibly harsh on the USPS and their “last mile” service agreements. I also added a comment regarding this issue in Claire McCaskill’s portion of the memo. I have also attached the link to the hearing, Claire McCaskill’s rant about “last mile” begins at 01.56.57, if you want to review that considering she was the brunt of “last mile” references.
Thank you for taking the time to review the memo with me.

One of the steps to helping the USPS keep up with all the new technology is to increase services and give their customers more options. People are choosing other ways because postal services aren’t as efficient as the internet. According to Source A, they are dropping from six- to five-day delivery. With the lack of faith in their services and drop in delivery days, the number of customers will probably decrease due to the slow services. The USPS should be providing a seven-day delivery service so their customers can be guaranteed to receive their letters and packages faster and easier. The inefficient and unreliable service causes the number of mail to decrease but increasing services can help attract and gain the trust of customers.…

Coronary artery disease is one of the most prominent forms of heart disease. It occurs when the coronary arteries that supply the heart blood become narrowed, and eventually occluded. This narrowing typically takes place because of plaque build up due to cholesterol and other fatty substances being ingested, also called atherosclerosis. This thickening of the artery wall can take many years, eventually completely inhibiting blood flow. Because the blood flow has stopped, little oxygen gets to the heart, and the myocardial cells therefore die. This is when a heart attack ensues, also called a myocardial infarction.…

1.The USPS is currently drowning in a astonishing amount of financial debt, that is threatening the survival of the federal agency. The USPS is aware of its badly broken business model and is in the process of a strategic restructuring of the agency as a whole. The agency is suffering because it has been unable to meet its budget since 2006, and has been in a deficit borrowing money from the US treasury to make ends meet. Exhausting their debt this year, there’s a lot of politics on what should be done to prevent a shut down. Its clear that with the increase of technology and…

The United States Postal Service (USPS) has delivered packages and other various mail for more than two centuries. With a significant increase to the USPS, however, the deficit in income has caused the USPS to shorten delivery days. In light of this, the United States Postal Service should not cut back on delivery days, but alternatively be reconstructed to meet the needs of Americans. It is important to support the traditions of the USPS by revamping the corporation’s policy, image, and by implementing modern-day morals.…
