1: Expressiveness: Able to be genuine and to give appropriate feedback, whether it’s good or bad.
2: Immediacy: Having a sense of togetherness between you (the listener) and the client (speaker). Also includes being able to show interest in what the other person is saying and having a liking towards one another.
3: Openness: Being able to self – disclose and to listen openly and to be able to react honestly to your client and what they are saying.
