Gandhi’s assassination was unjust because he was a nonviolent leader. He didn’t fight back when he was attacked and believed that without violence you would be able to make your point across. There was violence between Hindus and Muslims way before the independence of India. Many people were killed. Gandhi wanted peace and wanted to end the killing. Some Hindus saw Gandhi as a traitor for expressing sympathy towards Muslims. Godse killed Gandhi when he approached him and shot him in the chest 3 times. Godse was a Hindu extremist. Godse was executed by hanging.
