The article I just read recently, was “Children’s Arrests in Bullying Case Distress Tennessee City” written by Christine Hauser. Hauser writes about how children of the ages of 12 years old were arrested for bullying a boy. There were 10 children involved who were pushing the boy into the street and trying to provoke him into making a move. One of the children was recording the whole incident while the boy was being beaten up and later had posted it on YouTube. After the arrest of the children’s parents and churches started to gather up at the city hall and demand the police officers to drop the charges described as “criminally responsible for the conduct of another”. Zacchaeus and LaVonia Crawford were later on revealed as the mothers…

In the story, David said, “I could also tell the lady had picked up on the communication between Mother and me”. (pg. 126). One of the emotional indicators for physical abuse is fear of being with a certain individual and in this case, it was David’s mother. The social service lady should’ve picked up on the silent language that David and his mother had going on and separated them so she could talk to David and find the truth. At that point, David already figured out why his mother was nice to him, and he probably would’ve given some information to the social service person which would have led them to investigate more. Also, there had to be some indicators that this boy had physical abuse on his body. There were so many things that happened to David that there still had to be dome injuries on him. The doctors in his case reported twice that something was wrong, and nothing was done about the situation. The doctors not only reported that he had scarring and bruising, but this three-year-old had a ruptured bowel and died from it because social services…
