Arguments Against Hpv Vaccine
As with all things in life there are decisions that need to be made, decisions that could potentially change your whole future. Many parents these days are coming to the point where they need to decide whether to vaccinate their sons and daughters against HPV or not. The human papilloma virus a very common virus. It is the most common sexually transmitted infection that affects about 80% of sexually active people.
Doctors, scientists and physicians have worked for a long time trying to generate a vaccination against HPV. They eventually developed two called Gardasil and Cervarix. These vaccinations were developed to prevent contracting the HP virus and also HPV related cancers i.e. cervical cancer.

She concluded that the overall effectiveness of the HPV vaccine was high. Professor Lynette Denny says that parents should take their children for the HPV vaccine because it makes them so much less likely to develop cervical cancer and the other HPV related cancers. She stressed the fact that it increases boys herd immunity (an indirect form of protection from an infectious disease). Professor Anna –Lise Williamson and Dr Elna Ruddolph both agree with Denny. They believe that if parents have the money for it, they should take their children to get the vaccine done because in the long run it will benefit them. The vaccine isn’t just enough though. Professor Denny says, “We will need at least 30 years of data to be entirely sure of its performance over time.” Professor Denny also adds that the HPV vaccine is safe and has been evaluated by VAERS and SAEFVIC as well as the European Medicines
