Argumentative Essay: Where Vegas Is The Place To Be
Vegas is the place to be.

There’s so much to do there.

You will never be bored.

You could go ride the New York New York roller coaster.

You could even go to M&M World if you have time to spare.

Vegas is the place to be.

To remember Sin City you could even buy a poster.

Or you could find a cool Las Vegas shirt to wear.

You will never be bored.

Go shopping and maybe you’ll find a new toaster.

Maybe go zip linning down Fremont Street, you’ll have fun I swear.

Vegas is the place to be.

Find a cool casino, there’s lots of places to play poker.

If you are feeling adventurous go ride the stratosphere if you dare.

You will never be bored.

Book your flights now and Vegas will be that much closer.

Go there and I promise nothing

The big common places in this city would be the big shopping centers. There are two different shopping centers, one is the Westfield West Covina mall, and towards the other side of the city is the Eastland Shopping center, which is close to the freeway I-10. In the Eastland shopping center, there is a BJ’s restaurant/brewery, and a block and a half away there is a Buffalo Wild Wings, and this is where sports fans come and hang out during dinner time/happy hour to watch their favorite teams for whatever sport they may be watching. It becomes quite packed, especially during playoff time.…

With the liveliness of the games and the jovial atmosphere you are guaranteed a good time at Miller Park but can still head out to other great venues to continue your fun in Milwaukee. If you've got some time on your hands during the day then consider stopping into the Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory where you can take a look at different curated plants and a model train line. Or if nighttime adventures are more your thing then check out a show at The Rave/Eagles Club or hang out at the Potawatomi Hotel…

Despite the conflicting public opinion, Chris McCandless succeeded in his goal to survive in the wilderness and taught the world valuable lessons in the process. Chris McCandless “probably died on August 18th, 112 days after he had walked into the wild.” (119, Krakauer) He survived with very little gear and food, even though he was essentially cut off from the world. To have lived for a little over three months totally self-sufficient is impressive. Chris’s goal was to be independent and live off the land for a while. In his mindset, he achieved in his goal. Wayne Westerberg had employed Chris for two short amounts of time, but said “He was the type of person who insisted on living out his beliefs.” (Krakauer, 67) This was why Chris was determined to go to Alaska, instead of listening to the protests of others.…

To make sure that Detroit does not fall prey to the same evils which caused its dilapidation decades ago, they need to learn from their various mistakes. The biggest of these was to rely far too much on the car industry, which turned into its Achilles heel when Ford Motors, among other corporations, left the city. Diversification is the key here to financial prosperity, as Detroit needs to ensure that when one industry perhaps fails in the city, there are many others to continue to back up the city financially. This was exactly the problem with the city before; they did not have a backup plan for when demand for automobiles lessened.…

During the discussion on Washington Week, Gwen Ifil and her colleagues focused on Donald Trump, Marco Rubio, and Ted Cruz. The Republicans had their last debate before Super Tuesday and both Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz just attacked Donald Trump. This time Donald Trump couldn't seem to defend himself, but have no fear, Chris Christie is here. Chris Christie gladly gave an endorsement to Donald Trump to help him bounce back from the shakey debate. John Harwood thought you can't get anymore mainstream than the governor of New Jersey. Gwen Ifill responded with "Endorsements don't do much," but because both Trump and Christie like the spotlight they are a perfect match. As Super Tuesday started approaching, the candidates started doing their best…

The smell of buttered popcorn drifts towards you as you trot through the streets of the park. Then the scent of churros, hotdogs, and other delicious treats fill your nostrils as you continue to walk. You see the flashing lights and the characters lining the streets shouting, “Hello.” What makes Six Flags Over Georgia different than the great Disney World? Sure, Six Flags over Georgia has roller coasters, water rides, and countless concessions, but what makes it special? Disney World has all of those things, so how is Six Flags over Georgia different? Candace M. Whitney Professor Lynn McClelland English 101 22 February 2013 Living in Arizona vs. Living in Hawaii I was born and raised in Hawaii on the tiny island of Kauai where the misty rains fall daily, the grass is green all year around and the culture is rich in the spirit of aloha. Although living a life in Hawaii may seem wonderful and made in paradise, many locals make the tough decision to move away and Arizona has become the popular place to go. Arizona, with all its history and massive landmarks is by far the greatest place to reside and I would encourage anyone to make this beautiful state their home instead of making the mistake of believing that Hawaii is paradise. The cost of living should be enough in itself to convince…

Welcome to Newport, my section of the amusement park! My first attraction is a roller coaster called “Roger Williams’ Roller Coaster”. Everyone has the freedom to ride, no matter how tall or short you are! (But I recommend you to be forty-eight inches tall or higher, because if you aren't, it’s pretty unsafe). This relates to Rhode Island’s history because Rhode Island had freedom of religion instead of in this case, the freedom to be any height to ride, and Roger Williams, who founded Rhode Island, made so there was freedom of religion.…

Because the jury issues but a mere advisory opinion and not binding upon the court, Florida’s sentencing scheme must be unconstitutional. Florida’s statute requires that a court imposing the death sentence must make a written, detailed finding. This detailed account—not the jury’s verdict—that furnishes the basis for the Supreme Court of Florida’s review. Respondent’s rely on Hildwin (1989 case that permits the judge to find aggravating circumstances that authorize the death sentence) because it has not been expressly overruled. The ideas and principles in Hildwin were thrown out with Walton, clarified in Ring, and expressly overrule today.…

There is a way to live happier and healthier than at least 80 percent of people living in the United States alone today. The dilemma being faced is the option of country life and city life and which is the healthier option. This situation is an issue because people that are living in the city think the city is a healthier and better lifestyle with all their health precautions and closer distance to work or shopping. However, people living in the country think their way of life is good for health reasons. A concept has to be proven because both ideas may be the same, or it is possible that one idea out benefits the other. People living in the country are transcendentally healthier than those living in the city due to being away from the stressful…

People in Chicago are just like everybody else but they are getting judged on their skin tone. How would you feel if people would think you are a robber or a criminal just because your a colored person in a nice car. People are getting thrown into jail for some crime they didn’t commit and be in jail for years knowing they are innocent. These people could be just as smart as Albert Einstein but because they are colored they would never be able to show the world. People are getting tortured and being thrown in jail. If people traded skin they would see what they are doing is wrong and would also try to stop this racial profiling.…
