Argumentative Essay On Prime Reality
What is prime reality, or in other words, what is truly real? Many people ask this question on a daily basis, without having a true sense of the question they are asking themselves. What is prime reality? There are two sides or more sides to every argument, and the question of prime reality is no different. Asking this question raises a couple other questions as well. Those are “What is external reality?” and “What is my purpose?” Naturalists and Christian Theists propose opposite claims to these questions, but who is really right? I believe that God and his creation are prime reality and also explain what external reality and the purpose of living are. To not look at both sides of an argument would create an incomplete, and possibly uneducated, answer to very important questions. In Christianity the answer to is God. In this case I have talked from Christianity's point of view, and I will now speak from the point of view of naturalism. When speaking about prime reality there is only one answer. Matter. If I am speaking from a completely one-sided view then there is no possible way anything but matter can exist in the universe because it is finite and its boundaries are only physical attributes. Supernatural theories are illogical and have no relevance to our current state of living. If I am creating a worldview based solely on what can be sensed by one of our five senses then naturalism is the only answer and solution for me. Because there is a definite boundary to everything and worldview that includes a God has no relevant application to our current situation. The only plausible answer to the question of “What is prime reality?” is matter. By being a true naturalist I am stating my beliefs in a way that proves they are facts and the only logical answer to worldview
