Argumentative Essay On Muslims
Just a couple days ago, a mass shooting took place in Orlando in which 49 people were gunned down at a gay nightclub. This was the deadliest mass shooting in the United States and the nation's worst terror attack since 9/11 according to CNN news. Omar Mateen carried an assault rifle and a pistol into the packed Pulse club about 2 a.m. Sunday and started shooting, killing 49 people and wounding at least 53, officials said in CNN news.
U.S. President Barack Obama called the tragedy “an act of terror and an act of hate.” Many people would consider that the tragedy was done by a Muslim and many others believe that it was a hate crime. Mateen had something opposed to gay people. I personally do not blame it on Muslims because that is not an act of Muslims. Even if he was to be so called “Muslim”, then that is not true because that is not an act of Muslims to go around and kill innocent people. He may have called himself a Muslim to bring Islam a bad name and make people look at Islam in a bad way.
This is a real problem that needs consideration because a lot of Muslim haters are trying to resort to violence in the name of Islam. What many people need to know is that Omar Mateen does not represent Muslims in any way. This was an

When people get to know Islam more, then they would be positive and sure that such act is not an Islamic act. A lot of organizations and terrorists groups are being formed such as ISIS to do whatever act they want and blame it on Muslims by saying they’re being Muslims. ISIS are not Muslims and do not represent Islam in any way or the other, they are bad people bringing a bad name to Islam. I have no idea what the real reason behind why they’re are doing this but what I know is that ISIS are not Muslims and do not represent Islam in any way or the other. May God rest in peace all of the one who are shot in the Orlando shooting and heal up the ones that are

The use of his style shows that Muslim Americans do not want to associate themselves with terrorists like Omar Mateen the Orlando shooter whom he calls a “monster” and that he is trying to provide reasons that not all Muslims Americans represent a terrorist-like character. Using the word monster to describe Mateen, he points out the mistake most people make when they see a Muslim individual having more in common with a terrorist, in which it is made clear that he and other Muslim Americans do not support or associate themselves with an idiotic psychopath as he describes. Furthermore, Ansari takes a literal approach to Donald Trump’s quote to the American Muslim community that they know “who the bad one are” implying that they are all involved in terrorists attack and should be banned. His comparison is that if the people who caused the recession of 2007-2008 would fit Trump’s logic of banning all white males to protect the American economy. Pointing out the faults in Donald Trump’s reasonings is the main point being addressed, and is using language to show the ridiculousness of his logic and how he disassociates himself with terrorists like Omar Mateen, whom he calls a monster. His simple solution to the problem of terrorism may be…

Likely it is because Muslims have been responsible for two of the most prominent terrorist attacks in the past century, including 9/11 in the USA and the November 13 attacks in Paris. There is a clear link between 9/11 and Islam since the group that committed the attack was named “Al-Qaeda,” a self-proclaimed “Islamic” extremist group. I personally know three students in my class in New Jersey who lost a parent during this attack. I remember the videos online of the attack, still evoking strong emotion. It was a day that no American will ever forget. It was also the day where many began to accuse Islam, rather than Islamic extremists, for these attacks. Most of the accusers have never read the Quran, some did not even know where the Middle…

So many of us here in America wanted many members roughly 1.6 billion to suffer for the crimes of this very minuscule group of 19 contributors in the terrorist attack. Our country would eventually go into a war within the Middle East that directly correlated to the 9/11 terrorist attacks, that would become a war that lost lives many funds and resources and did more harmful than any good for us. And this pretrial of Muslims as evil terrorists here in America is an every present idea shared by many. “After the events on 9/11 the Bush Administration formed ICE which oversaw deportations in the U.S, which nearly double since 9/11.”(The Lowdown) This idea is very harmful there are always outliers in a large group such as Christians, Muslims, and Hindus etc. To put the ideas shared by few and express them shared by many is an extremely terrible way to look at religious groups. This terrible belief is ever-present 15 years…

First, when the second wife, Noor Salman drove him to the nightclub prior to the shooting because Mateen wanted to “scope out the place” it should have sent a lightbulb off in her head that he was up to something. She then went with Mateen to buy ammunition and warned him against anything he might be planning when she should have told the police. Second, when a salesperson at a gun shop contacted the FBI because he became suspicious of Mateen wanting to purchase body armor and 1,000 rounds of bulk ammunition, feds should have took the call more serious and investigated instead of claiming they had no record of the report. Last, nightclubs are known for having security at the entry ways. You usually have to show your Id and even get patted down in most cases. What confuses me is how he got past security with an AR-15 assault rifle in the first place.…

Orlando Shooting in Florida: After watching this video on the shooting it left me feeling startled and upset, because it doesn't seem like your typical target for an attack: they were just innocent people living out their lives. Therefore it opens your eyes to seeing any place you go as somewhere that could become the next target. My definition of terrorism was the act of violence against people in order to be heard, and get your point across. I believe this connects with my definition because he did not agree with what they where doing so he went, and expressed that in a violent manner. In the article it states "Mateen's parents, who are from Afghanistan, said he'd expressed outrage after seeing two men kiss in Miami." This shows us that…

The prices of college tuition have increased yearly, and not much of an effort is put forth to try to lower the costs. For example, colleges in the state of Pennsylvania have a high tuition. Moravian College’s tuition is about $32,931, and after receipt of grants and scholarships for one year it will be $22,900. East Stroudsburg University’s tuition is about $6,240, and after receipt of grants and scholarships for one year it will be $12,500. I can barely afford Community College, and I know for a fact I wouldn’t be able to afford any of these colleges or universities either. In this essay, I will explain through facts and opinions, why the cost of college tuition should be lowered.…

One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish, I wish that society would overcome the crippling and arbitrary views on race and religion. The very concept of dividing and separating members of the humanity based on color and nationality is asinine given that race is a social construct. The insipid and manmade concepts of race and religion has ignited and induced countless bloodshed among individuals who neglect that all participants in the deadly and unnecessary evil of war are members of the human race. The inventions of race and religion have only serve to divide individuals on the values and morals when morality cannot be defined.…
