Fantasy Sport Leagues Imagine watching Fantasy Sports Leagues commercials more than the actual Sports leagues... this could happen. Fantasy Sports Leagues are becoming a cancer to sports and should be stopped. This is a alternative gambling situation that is destined to turn for the worse with corruption and cheating. These leagues have had problems for years, and that if not stopped they could be heading for worse. Fantasy Sports Leagues are harmful to sports in general and should be considered as illegal gambling.

If the economy is benefiting from the leagues so much why aren't we seeing it? Well first the websites keep most of the money for themselves and fund back into advertisements. Also, not even the state economy's get back much if any money and they are cutting into the lottery profits of states, another reason on why some states are starting to ban the gambling leagues.(Online Fantasy 1) The opposition states that fantasy sports leagues draw in more viewers for those events. Although, it's true that they increase from .22 to .57 of people to go to games every year it doesn't show viewer ratings, which means they're trying to hide something. (Nesbit and King 1) Viewers have been fed up for years with the amount of commercial breaks during games and the ratings have not gained at all. Fantasy Sport Leagues are a danger to minds and fans.

In the end, Fantasy Sports Leagues need to be stopped. These leagues are very harmful to Professional players in various ways.
