Have u ever seen a woman breastfeeding in the park, on a bench, in a restaurant or mall? Many of these women breastfeeding in a public place find a hard time feeding their children. A lot of people do not care or mind women breastfeeding their children around them because breastfeeding is done to provide nutrients to the child, but there is a lot of hateful comments and people that find public breastfeeding too intimate and believe breastfeeding has "No Place in Public".
What is breastfeeding? For many years breastfeeding has been a way for mothers to provide their kids with the nutrients that they need for healthy growth and development. Breastfeeding Breastfed babies experience lasting health benefits. This includes helping to prevent several diseases such as diabetes, childhood cancers, obesity, infections, diarrhea, chest (respiratory) infections and asthma. Breastfeeding is more beneficial to a newborn, rather than drinking out of a bottle. Another major benefit about breastfeeding is that it's free. It's a much better choice rather than the average cost of $1,733 annually to feed their child with a formula. Breastfeeding is not intended for women to show off their bodies, it's only meant for her child to be fed. Thankfully, only two states in the United States (North Dakota, Virginia ) exempt breastfeeding moms from the public, and Idaho has not yet made any laws regarding
