Argument Synthesis Walking through the mall you see plenty of heads down, hands to ears, and even sometimes earbuds and or headphones. Today technology and modern day entertainment are hiding the importance of communication. Texting is one of the main reasons we don’t communicate with our teenagers, texting degrades the value of a conversations killing emotion or feelings. “Technology negatively affects us by perpetuating the mindset of immediate satisfaction.” (S1) It’s very rare to see an elder person who is advanced in the use of modern day technology such as cell phones, computers, laptops, tablets, etc. Even televisions of today are different for them, everything around is different all …show more content…
Such as using the iPhone she has a challenging time figuring out what to do and the features that comes. When something out of the ordinary occurs on her device I immediately receive a message, call, and or screenshot involving the issue and resolution. Communication between my mother and I isn’t where it should be between a parent and their child but neither one of us are very social I guess you could say we talk about the importance, general conversation, a little humor but nothing too extreme like some parent-children relationships today. I shall say I have a more share fair with social media and text message base lifestyle than she does, but when it comes to over the line talking she has me beat as I don’t always like to talk on the phone to people especially strangers or people I don’t have much conversation with. Nowadays we are witnessing a shift in the role technology is playing in our society and may continue to play for generations to come. In the modern-day world technology is no longer a tool for survival but a means of communication and also entertainment. Mass communication technology has made it easier than ever to connect with people. If you think about the way of life of individuals in today's opportunity, you will see that it is more exceptional and cutting edge contrasted with earlier years. Individuals owe this to splendid personalities of the individuals who continue building up various propelled supplies. Innovation gives awesome changes to one's life, making things more open and simpler to deal with.
