Are Nurses Forced To Be Moms Supposed To Save Life?
I agree that nurses are supposed to save life, but the question has been these women ready to be moms are their life in danger for having another child. There was an era that abortion was illegal in the 19th century. Abortion was considered a criminal act. Women that already had 4 and 5 kids and couldn’t afford feeding another child. Women started to resort to dangerous and sometimes deadly methods to eliminate a pregnancy. Million of women went into desperate measures utilizing hangers and drugs to eliminate the pregnancy. The question is if abortion is made illegal again how do we nurses protect these moms to be from attempting a risky practice.
