1. Describe three factors that control how much water is flowing in a river.
The rate of precipitation, the source of water (snow on mountains), and slope of the river.
2. List the factors that produced the different flow conditions.
Rillito Creek, Arizona- An increase in precipitation. Mississippi and Wisconsin Rivers- result of global climate change. Colorado River, Glen Canyon Dam- an increase in precipitation.

A big increase in the measured discharge (cfs)
