As a child, I would anticipate recess so my classmates and myself could go outside and play jump rope whether it was by myself or with a few other people we would have a great time skipping rope to songs we learned to recite while we jumped. Adolescence was a time in my life when there was no worries or stress, and jumping rope was just a fun school game everyone liked to play. As we grew up and school no longer allowed us to have recess I all but forgot about the activity I used to love to play.
