Animal Testing Satire
We all talk about how hitting animals, dog fighting, not feeding or housing animals is cruel and unusual punishment. Although this is always our definition of cruelty towards animals, many of us may push scientific animal experiments off to the side because that’s not animal cruelty, we are using it for research. Well people argue on this topic quite frequently even though it doesn’t seem that way. One person could be fascinated by the findings done by animal testing or one person could just be absolutely sickened by it. Either way many people feel it’s cruel to hurt animals, but why is animal testing so widely accepted throughout the country.
What is Animal Testing?
Well it’s a combination of different things. It’s the pretesting of drugs

Animal testing is cruel and barbaric. In the article "A change of heart about animals" by Jeremy Rifkin, featured in the los Angeles Times, Rifkin discussed how scientists have discovered that animals are not far different from humans. The studies show that animals have similar emotions and reactions when experiencing such emotions in times of distress or fear. Despite these finding, animals are still continually tested on for products and other experiments in order to see what the result would be.…

I agree that animal testing isn’t just where animals are being tortured, because my experience with research has showed that, in very rare cases animals are tortured, it’s very hard for a scientist to get funding for that type of experiment, as well as all the certificates they need to make it happen in the first place.…

The novella, Animal Farm, satirizes the lifestyle of Stalinist Russia. The author, Eric Blair, known by the pseudonym George Orwell, uses a farm in which every animal and conflict is allegorical to the lifestyle of the Soviet Union. In the story, Orwell portrays how the animals are unaware of their power similar to the working class in Russia. After the rebellion, which represents the Russian Revolution, the animals anticipate an exponentially better life that consists of bigger rations, proper care, and a society with no social classes and equality among all animals, similar to communism. The pigs, who are naturally the leaders, create a list of commandments, but due to the lack of education among the farm animals, the pigs sum up the commandments…

Though animal testing should be banned from ever being practiced or used again, people still view it as a necessity despite all of the evidence against it. Animal testing requires inhumane, unsanitary, unsafe, or cruel conditions that if done to humans would be outlawed since they either reduce the quality of life or cause disease or death. Seeing that animals are living, breathing creatures that want to survive just as much as people do, assuming that test conditions are not good for human kind, then they are not good for any living creatures. Furthermore, they are inherently wrong by nature. Tolerating animal cruelty promotes the same insensitivity that allows cruelty to people, such as serial killers and the early incidents of animal torture.…

An estimated 26 million animals are used every year in the United States fir various types of testing. These animals are used for scientific and commercial testing to develop medical treatments, determine toxicity of medications and chemicals, check the safety of products destined for human use and other biomedical or healthcare purposes. This testing on animals is cruel, inhumane and should be banned. It should be banned because the animals are held and live in inhumane conditions, it is harmful and at times lethal to the animals and there are other research method available that do not require animal testing.…

Pretend you are a rat in a lab about to be tested. There are big scary humans about to poke potentially poisonous needles into your skin. You are howling in pain. You don't know why they're doing this. Suddenly, you feel a cold finger on your spine. It pushes hard, and the pressure builds more and more and then Crack! You're dead. This is what takes place in the brutal practice of animal testing. Scientists practice this, and even more painful and harmful things on animals, to test the toxicity of chemicals. It's not just animals being affected in this process, but humans too. A drug that is passed on a mouse is completely irrelevant to its reaction in a human. We must eliminate animal testing because it is an unethical act of cruelness.…

The scientific community is for animal testing because they see it that it is better for animals to suffer than humans. Animals greatly advance human medicine which is enough to overlook and justify animal suffering. On the other hand, those who are against testing products on animals see it as cruel. Researchers induce pain on animals, sometimes without the use of anesthetics. However, there is also a grey area where some people support it only under certain circumstances.…

People all over the world have been using make up products for centuries, and they were not always safe. We have harmed ourselves by using certain chemicals in our make-up and hair products. It was not always known that something would have a negative effect, but in the past even when something was harmful, people still used it. As technology, has improved and we have gained knowledge we have begun to test product before selling and using them. It was inhuman to do these testing on humans which is why we started testing in animals. I do believe that we could find another subject to test. We know have the technology the replicate the human body and how it reacts to certain things. We can have tester subjects that are not living, therefore the…

Animal rights are rights that affect all of us on a daily basis whether we realize it or not. From protecting the animals themselves from inhumane testing and living situations to climate change, the rights of animals are highly debated and are very controversial. People who are passionate about animal rights are typically vegan meaning that they do not consume and typically avoid products made by or with animal products of all sorts. This lifestyle choice is becoming more popular thus making it much easier to abide by. On the other hand, there are many people who still live by the much more primitive means of hunting. Some of these people believe humans are the top of the food chain and that humans have natural…

As the daughter of an anti-pet mother, having a puppy has been my frustrated dream. Once, when younger, I approached my mother and told her that I didn't need a pure-bred dog that I would take in one of the many stray ones. Of course, the answer was a "No". Ever since then, I became aware of the lots of homeless animals on the streets. Now that I'm older, I realize that if our country's government doesn't even focus properly on human beings, animals have little to no chance of having a place in our "Immediate Help" listing.…

Animal testing has always been a big issue around the world. Some people think that it is okay for animals to be tested on while others don’t. What even is animal testing? Animal testing is where scientists find new medications and test them on the animals before humans. Why might scientists test them on animals first? So, that if something goes wrong, only the animal would suffer and not a human. I am a critic for animal testing. I believe that animals have a purpose to the world just as much as humans do. Even if people don’t like rodents, that doesn’t mean we need to try and potentially kill them. Animals are very important to this world just like everyone else.…

    Benefits Of Animal Testing

In animal testing, countless animals are experimented on and then killed after their use is up. Some are injured and will still live the remainder of their life in captivity. The doctors will not do anything to help the animals that are in pain that happen to be the reason because of them. It is the aspect of animals testing that many view as a major negative against the practice, as it seems that the animal died in vain because no direct benefit to humans occurred. Even though animals and humans have many things in common like how we both have the same organ system, there are also many things that are different between animals and humans. Many animals cannot handle or take the same medication as humans, most the surgeries that are operated on animals are just too strong for an animal to take so they end up dying or sick for the rest of their lives. (Animal Testing…
