Animal Farm Persuasive Analysis
Manipulative, persuasive, and cunning are all words that can be used to describe Squealer. In the book, Animal Farm he’s described as a fat pig with a shrill voice, nimble movements, and a brilliant talker. Squealer has a way with words. He’s good at talking and getting people to see his way. He can change people’s perspective on things. “The others said of Squealer that he could turn black into white” (Orwell 16). Persuasion comes easily to Squealer. He knows just what to say to get someone on the same page as him. He can make people see one thing as something completely different.
