The Differences Between a Pig and a Human Dictator
Some dictators could be cruel, but some could be ever more cruel. Such as Napoleon which was a pig from the book Animal Farm by George Orwell. He was the dictator of Animal farm. Another example of a dictator is Wojciech Jaruzelski he was also a dictator. He ruled poland in 1981-1990. Both Napoleon and Wojciech Jaruzelski were dictators but they were different because Jaruzelski rose to power by getting elected to presidency, declared a martial law, and used his power on the army.

The pigs were allowed to walk on 2 legs (Orwell 96-97). In the book Animal Farm, laws were put in place to restrict animals from becoming like man, yet in the end one can not tell man from animals. This shows that Napoleon could care less about the rules but is rather selfish. Sunday afternoon the animals have to work or they will not get any food (91). In the beginning what Napoleon says was that everyone would get to have a break on every Sunday but now he bends the rules and says that all animals work on Sunday or the animals will not get any food. This shows that Napoleon was just being nice at first and slowly luring the animals in to do all the work. The answer to Jaruzelski political dilemmas was to declare of Martial law on December 13, 1981 (“Wojciech Witold Jaruzelski”). This was out of his control therefore he thought it was his only choice otherwise he would not have declared Martial law. This shows that he was trying to solve some problems but it turns out it made things worse. Unless Jaruzelski acted against solidarity by declaring Martial law and detaining the movement’s activist (Pick). Jaruzelski probably felt like this was an unavoidable or inescapable thing. Jaruzelski felt like he had no choice; whereas Napoleon breaks laws without a care. Jaruzelski did it the casual way unlike Napoleon, who chased his opponent away. When it came to laws, Napoleon was the pig to break all the rules. On the other hand Jaruzelski was the person who tried to fix things, but made them worse. Napoleon and Jaruzelski were about the same as each other when to cruelties. The both of them killed people or animals. All dictators have a characteristic of abusing their power once they gain it. If someone had that same power they would probably also abuse
