-The major responsibilities of an anesthesiologist are, - To give patients drugs or gasses that prevents pain or any felling during surgery. - To make sure the patient is ok before during and after surgery. -To decide if they should use general anesthesia (makes patients unconscious) or regional anesthesia (numbs a cretin area.) -To monitor patients vital signs such as heart rate, breathing, and blood pressure. -To prescribe pain killers.
-The educational requirements of an anesthesiologist are, -That you must graduate high school. -Then complete four years of under graduate education. -Then four years of medical school. -Then you must take a three to four residency.
