During this event they spoke of how we start and end our four years in the same way. I am just glad I have been able to enjoy my first semester by making some new friends, learning new strategies to working and figuring my life out.…

With the main goal being on gaining a degree at graduation, academic writing, knowing personal strengths and weaknesses, finding out and knowing ways to improve on weaknesses, time, and stress are among some of the crucial areas at a graduate level to not only be responsible for but to also be prepared for. I never imagine that I will take any academic award in high school or any time for all that matter. When I stepped excitedly and nervously into the stage to get my third academic letter award in high school, it was the most amazing moments in my life; and without a doubt, it was a fantastic fantasy in between my hands. Arriving at my new school excitingly, Marshall High School, I met my new counselor, who was the first person I met in school. She told me about the school system, the teachers, clubs/organization and my own classes; all that was eagerness and thrilling. We walked around the school; I started imagine who I will be and who I will be friends: one of the popular students, the normal students, or the losers.…

Personality Development is the combination of natural talent, personal interest, current opportunity, social environment, character, motivation and how the brain processes information. Each of us has a social personality, which is different from everyone else. Jongeward and Muriel James, in their much talked about book “Born to Win,” talked about how each individual has been born to be a winner. However, in the course of development, from infancy to adulthood, negligence towards our own potentials took a toll on our progress, and as a result, we are no longer able to use our unique traits to their fullest. Today, education plays an important role for personality development preparing students to face challenges in day to day life has become an important goal of today’s education. It is only through a programme of personality development that one can break the shackles of traditional closed-door approach to education. Intellectual development was supposed to be the only aim of education for many years. However, the connotation of education has become much larger. Now with the advent of constructivist approach emphasis is given to all-round development of student. The formal education helps intellectuals discover and develop their natural talent. They are only examination oriented moreover it’s a trend that has been started by the colleges itself that student with good scores are rewarded and other with talent and potential are looked down it is the duty of colleges to…
