Analysis Of The Zika Virus
This virus is something that is irreversible. Parents magazine put out an article explaining what Zika is and the associated effects. Microcephaly causes “developmental delays, mental retardation, and seizures, and in some cases can be fatal.” (Parents). With these effects, it would be almost impossible for the child to have a successful life. The Zika virus is transferred by mosquitos and recently discovered it can be sexually transmitted as well. Being sexually transmitted, there is an increased risk as it is easily transferred from men to women. There are two shots that are potentially vaccines that cure the infected of Zika. If the woman has the virus while pregnant, there is little chance that the child won’t have symptoms. However, if
